Valley Sports Legend Urges Prostate Cancer Screening
Valley sports legend and prostate cancer survivor Jerry Colangelo urges men to get life-saving screenings.
More than 4,000 Arizona men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011.
Even more startling, according to the group Prostatecheckup.org, more than 600 of them will die because the disease wasn’t found in time.
“This is a cancer that can be caught and you can beat it if you catch it early enough,” Colangelo said.
