Colangelo Inducted into Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame
The Illinois Athletic Department finally tied their bow on their inaugural Hall of Fame class. Inductees and fans alike felt the nostalgic and exciting experience together.
“The people I’m going into the Hall of Fame with today, it’s a particular honor,” Jerry Colangelo said.
Dick Butkus, Mannie Jackson, Steve Stricker and 25 others were officially inducted into the Hall of Fame in front of Illinois fans and alum on Saturday.
