Jerry Colangelo never won a NBA championship. But he never compromised his feelings toward domestic violence.

It’s a lesson that some NFL franchises better learn fast.

Colangelo not only shipped off a mediocre relief pitcher (Bobby Chouinard) for domestic violence, he traded away the face of his basketball franchise (Jason Kidd) for Stephon Marbury. It was a bad trade, and a commendable stand.
